A view from the cab of WM SD-35 as it approaches TH tower just before sunset. NH EP-5 can be seen in staging yard just to the right of tower. MTH B&O signal shows green for the WM loco to continue on....

My layout is built on a shelf around the walls of a 13x15 ft. room in the basement of my home. The shelf is 36 inches from the floor and varies in width from 10 to 20 inches. There is a 5ft-two track staging yard extending into a hallway. The staging yard and the single track main are under home built catenary. At this time I am operating two electric engines. A MTH NH EP-5 and a Atlas Marc AEM-7. Both engines are wired for catenary operation and sit in the staging yard with passenger cars awaiting their next run.

I also operate diesel power on the layout. All of my power is Western Maryland Rwy. equipment. My favorite being the Atlas SD-35 in circus colors. This is a great running loco and looks great as well.
