Novices Welcome

Straightforward TSD Road Rally - NO TRAPS (Timing or Course-Following)

The Crossing The Line Road Rally will be a leisurely tour of approximately 175 miles of rural roads in Calhoun and Branch counties in southern lower Michigan. This year's route will have all new roads and one time-of-day restart in Coldwater, MI.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

11:00 AM Registration Opens
12:30 PM Drivers Meeting
12:40 PM All Cars Receive Route Instructions
1:01 PM Car # 1 Starts Rally
5:00 PM Car # 1 Starts Section Two (approx.)
7:30 PM Car # 1 Finishes (approx.)

LOCATION

START: Park & Ride Lot at I-69 exit 36
(just south of I-94 interchange)
FINISH: The Dark Horse Brewing Co, Marshall, MI

CLASSES

Equipped:: Unlimited equipment.
Limited:: Any mileage measuring equipment and any calculation equipment without direct odometer input (lap top computers, hand held calculators, etc.).
Stock:: Stock odometer system and any non programmable calculator with not more than one memory. Curtas are allowed.
Novice:: Any team where the total number of rallies run by the driver and navigator combined does not exceed six (6). Equipment limitations the same as Stock Class.

ENTRY FEES

Postmarked by September 12: $25
After September 12: $30
Make checks payable to Detroit Region SCCA
General Instructions will be mailed to all early entrants on September 16, 1998.
