Mary White~A rising star on the Country Music Scene

Mary White could very well be Country Music's best kept little secret. Mary's music shines as a welcome reminder of how much fun down~home country music should be. Through pure persistence and raw talent, Mary has written more than 200 songs and has earned a solid reputation as one of the Southwest's hottest, rising young country artists.

By blending a little bit of aggressive, non-traditional country with the accessibility of vague commercial pop. Mary's songs capitalize on a wealth of diverse musical influence. The music itself is a smooth combination of intelligent song writing and deep~digging vocal tones. The result is wide open musical instinct and a talent that speaks for itself.

Mary grew up in a musical family and started singing with her mother at festivals and in church. As a child, Mary remembers listening to her idols, Barbara Mandrell, Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton, playing guitar and learning to sing by the tender age of seven. When she arrived in LA  from her home town of Longview, Texas, she began performing at local clubs, festivals and coffehouses. Ever since then, Mary has been erecting her own music style.

On stage, she's pure energy, and sings with a smile in her voice. She swings her sax and guitar and moves like Garth, and is attractive and charismatic ike Shania. She's a real crowd pleaser. You may have already heard her CD called "Lonesome Rider", which features a foot~stompin' rhythm and a stroke of rock. Her voice delivers a real punch of soulful southern flair.

Mary White not only provides great music for fans in the Southwest, but was fortunate enough to entertain a piece of the world. She was recently selected by the United States Armed Forces MWR to tour South Korea and entertain the troops and spectators alike from all reaches of the globe.

Mary is currently living in Los Angeles, writing and performing locally. She is also the owner of QP Sound Recording Studio in North Hollywood, where she produces local artists. She is writing great songs and looking for a publishing, recording opportunity. If you enjoy great music, and songs from the heart, you will want to play her CD or catch her live, you'll be glad you did.
