The New Ford --- Model A Introductory Film --- On DVD

Produced by Ford Educational Laboratories in late 1927, this film introduced the Model "A" to the world.

You'll see the car being assembled from beginning to end with all major components prominently featured, including cutaway shots of the motor, transmission and rear axle. Although the Ford assembly line is featured, the real star of this film is the Model "A" and the showcase of AR features displayed in amazing technical detail.

As the car nears completion you'll see Henry Ford stamping the first engine. The film concludes with a test drive that really demonstrates its reliability. You'll see "The New Ford" plow through running board deep snow in the Allegheny Mountains, breeze through a rigorous torture track and climb the steepest hill in Pittsburgh without missing a step.
