Who am I |
So some how you surfed into this section of my site. Well, I have created this page as a way to introduce myself to internet surfers like yourself. Let me start by telling you that my name is Nathan (like you couldn't figure that out). I am twenty three years old, and have lived in Southern California my entire life. I currently attend College at Chapman University (click here to see my school) where I am a first year senior; double majoring in Communications, as well as Sociology. I have worked as a mechanic on several professional racing teams, as well as in engine and machine shops my entire life. I enjoy fabricating, customizing, engine building, as well as competition. My idea of fun is racing in the sand making Glamis a perfect place for me to spend my vacations. I have a passion for speed and mechanics that is hard for me to explain with words alone. I have been making the trek to Glamis for some time now, I average about ten trips a year. Currently I own a Yamaha Banshee, and a Sand Rail both of which I spend most of my time, effort, energy, and all of my money on. Most of the guys I dune with are long time friends or family of friends. I am always at the dunes on big weekends, but also enjoy duning on the off weekends. For the record I have been to Glamis during the summer, 120 degrees was too hot but I did it. My favorite thing about Glamis is the sand drags on Gecko Road, but Boardmanville is a close second. To me there is nothing better than side-stepping the clutch on the line at the sand drags. In case you wonder, I am not a computer nerd (not even close), in fact I got my first computer 12-25-98, some thirteen short months ago. This whole web-site thing just happened, I am completely self taught and with trial and error this is where I have ended up. I do spend a good portion of my leisure time on this site, the entire thing has been one big learning curve for me. I enjoy the computer and learning with it, but nothing will ever replace my passion for engines. If you ever see me at the dunes, dont hesitate to stop by and introduce yourself, we'll have a beer. I camp on Gecko Road about 1/2 miles South of the Sand Drags, you cant miss me. I hope to see you at the dunes. Until then be safe, pick up your trash, and have fun. See Ya Later,
