My Ancient and Medival ancestors
Clicking on the person's name will send you to that part of the family tree that is associated with that person.
Missing people in this list are not so much missing as they are wishful thinking, either that we wish and hope that they might have existed or we wish and hope that we might be related to the person.
- Leif Ericsson, a relative?
Leif Ericsson is often given the honor of "discovering" America 500 years before Columbus. The truth as we know it today is that he was the first Anglo explorer rather than discoverer, of the New World following in his countryman, Bjarni Herjulfsson's, footsteps, after that individual sighted the coastline after being blown far off course during a storm. The question is, is anyone now living, myself included, related to the famous, Leif Ericsson?
- Theodoric (Ameryi)
He is supposedly the uncle of Charlemagne through his marriage to Alda, the sister of Charlemagne's father, Pepin. He is also supposedly a Jewish prince exiled from Baghdad. From him I have traced a lineage back through the Jewish exilarchs of Baghdad, and the Sassiniad rulers of Persia, to one Sasan, a priest in Persia before 200 AD. Is Theodoric real and is this link to Persia real?
