Oh, What Fun...Morgan Turns One!!
On September 30, 1998 our Miss Morgan turned one year's old. On her birthday we celebrated at our local Chinese Restaurant with her maternal Grandma and Grandpa. The staff at The Panda House were very excited to see her and served her ice cream at the end of her meal. After the meal we went back to our house to open presents and eat cake!
The day before my birthday Mom made me a cake.

Birthdays are fun!
On October 4, 1998 we had a family party. I got to meet more cousins. Mom and Dad incorporated a few Chinese traditions. We ate mooncakes for the Autumn Moon Festival. We passed out lucky red envelopes and gave everyone a dyed red egg as part of the Red Egg and Ginger celebration. My cake even had the moon lady on it!
