The 9th Regiment, Infantry, New York Volunteers only served a little over 7 months during the Spanish American War. And even though the Regiment never fired a shot in anger during the War, the men of the unit answered their countries call to serve. All joined knowing that they might be ask to fight for their country and that some may die in the fighting. This site is dedicated to all the men of the 9th Regiment along with all the soldiers, sailors, and marines that served in the Spanish American War.
