This was Albuquerque, New Mexico's first professional hockey
team. The Albuquerque Six Guns only lasted one year in the old
C.H.L.. The 1973/74 season was a tough one for the Six Guns. They
could only pull out 16 wins and did not make the playoffs. The
Six Guns where the farm team for the Kansas City Scouts but the
Scouts didn't play in the N.H.L. until the 1974/75 season. So the
Six Guns had to obtain players from existing N.H.L. clubs.
