In my experiences, the Ouija board is an instrument of the Oracle.....a strange force; the Oracle makes all decarnated dieties (esp. those meant for Oracle tasks,) possess neither positive nor negative centered - personalities. In otherwords, it effects nonincarnated spirits strangely; some spirits/souls may lie when they usually don't, and some may laugh when they are really sad ...if affected by this strange force that dwells 
between the netherworld and this physical plane of existance. But is this force really unknown to mankind?? On another note, perhaps the Oracle has always been known - the ancient Greeks had a Delphi Oracle. The monuments still stand in Greece, honoring it.
Some basic theories about the astral world comprise the thought that it is composed of 7 planes of existance. One theory is that this plane is one of the seven planes of existance.
Of course, you have other theories which state that all 7 planes are beyond the physical plane.
When astral projecting, experiences vary from individual to individual. Additionally, when encountering different people from different paths one may notice views of the astral realm differ. Everyone's perspectives are different! However, the basic principals remain the same. Dig further by reading the book, The Astral World....dwellers and Phenomina , by Swami Panchadsi. Most of the book I agree with! You can also watch the movie, What Dreams May Come<, to get a colorful idea of what life after death is like ( besides the hell part, of course ).

Awesome book. It's about 2 souls who are connected through time, and their experience and great love for each other (sniff) it made Nella cry! It is supposidly a story that a spirit told to a medium.
