Nella

Hello. My name is Nella and I am the editor and coordinator for the Pan's Grove Magazine! Pan's Grove

I'll start this page off by telling you alittle about myself. I am currently finishing my book called, The Magickal Grimoire. I own the Pan's Grove store in Wyoming. I am going to Italy and Greece soon to visit the ancient sanctuaries. I plan to visit 3 sanctuaries to Pan. Besides this there's not much to tell you about myself.

I was born in a Catholic hospital on Oct. 30, 1974 ( I am one of those wierd, mystical Scorpios ). My childhood life wasn't that hot - my parents got divorced, my sister had children early, my brother ran away from home ... we moved to Wyoming, then my mother and I moved to Montana. When I was 12 I fell deeply in love with a boy in Montana, and because of that love I gradually came into paganism. My story is here at the Positively Angelic Web Page. I have always felt a strong connection with this boy ( who is now a man :) ) - even 10 years later, I can still feel it! It's bazarre but very real. Well, I moved from Montana back to Ohio, where I basically got a Ouija board and got heavily into spirit communication, then magick, then ... then ... so much more! In Ohio, I was labeled a devil worshipper when I told the principle at my school that I love the color black and that I didn't believe in God ( which was true, especially then. ) I told him this because I had gotten into a fight with a gang of Christian girls at my school, after they had questioned me repeatedly on my religious views. At the time I was only pagan, but I claimed I was an athiest, for the sake of my parent's reputation. ) The principle even called my mother and asked her if I was a devil worshipper after he already asked me if I was one and I had said no! My mother said,

" No she isn't - and even if she was, it's none of your business! " Later on, after I graduated and got the heck out of that town, I wrote him and told him how wrong he was to just assume that I was a Satanist/D.W. He never had enough gutts to respond; he must have agreed that he was truly wrong!

I went from a small town in Ohio to the U.S. Navy, and I went to bootcamp in Orlando ( Summer 1993. ) I was Wiccan, but they marked my dog tags " no religion ". I was surprised to see a room reserved for Wiccans and Hinduists at the chapel in bootcamp. I was transferred to Navsta 32nd St. in San Diego later on, where I had a lot of difficulty urging Wiccan events at the Chapel - eventually they simply announced Wiccan meetings at a Wiccan's personal home in the Chapel newsletters.

I got married right after bootcamp to a Celtic spiritualist. It didn't work out to make a long story short. It was a good experience for me; sometimes things that you want aren't always the best thing for you.

If nothing else, my marriage with Liddell pushed me to become a better writer. I look back to those days - I sucked when I wrote articles. However, he was always really good at writing. Today I am not only a better writer, but a stronger person.

I will always love my Lord and my Lady and of course, all the gods who have tried to show me the way to righthood. Blessings to one and all, and special love to my kin in Casper.

We are the Great All
