Mike composing music
Mike is a high school senior who is an extremely gifted and talented musician. From everything he touches comes beautiful music! He plays Drums, Bass, Keyboard, and Tuba. He also composes, studies and teaches music theory, gives lessons, and on top of all that, tiny blue star he sings. We enjoy attending all of his performances— Jazz Band, Honor Band, Advanced Band, Choir and Youth Symphony. We are extremely proud and excited to be traveling to New York this summer to watch him perform at Carnegie Hall. He enjoys children and looks forward to being a big brother for the first time.

OUR HOME...
We live in a cozy home on a private court in Sebastopol, CA, approximately 50 miles north of San Francisco, in beautiful Sonoma County. We live in a safe and friendly family neighborhood that has a ton of kids. We have 3 great dogs, Buster, Sandy and Abby, who are waiting for a new littletiny yellow star companion to come play with them in our big backyard.

We are fortunate to be close to all the things we enjoy the most: 20 minutes to the ocean for great walks and gorgeous sunsets, 20 minutes to Lake Sonoma for fishing and camping, less than an hour to San Francisco to enjoy all the great sports, museums, and family activities that the big city has to offer.

OUR VALUES...

Our marriage is based on love, friendship, honesty, trust and mutual respect. We believe we have a lot to offer a child: a nurturing home environment, financial and emotional stability, and most importantly...our unconditionaltiny red star love. Just like our parents, our goal is to provide our child the support and guidance he or she needs to develop a strong sense of self-esteem, self-worth and self-respect.

FAMILY TIES... Family is extremely important to us. We both come from large, loving families who all live close by. They are as excited about our decision to adopt as we are! We love getting together often with our tiny blue starfamilies at our home for birthday celebrations, Easter egg hunts, barbecues on warm summer days, and Christmas morning by a warm fire next to our beautiful tree.

FUN FAMILY TIMES... We love working in our yard together planting vegetables and bulbs. It'll be great to have another set of little helping hands to plant seeds and pick flowers. We enjoy the outdoors and love taking short trips to Monterey and Mendocino and look forward to taking our child to the Northwest to meet great aunts and other relatives there.

In winter we'll join our friends at their cabin in Bear Valley, go sledding and build a snowman together.
