One of Charles Heissings brothers, Joseph Heissing, had a son by the name of Johannes. Johannes became a Catholic Priest and emigrated to America sometime after 1870. He died 28th July 1900, St. Vinzenz-von-Paul-Gemeinde in Germantown, near Louisville Kentucky.
