The logo of the Eastern Bus Company contains a compass rose. My Internet searches on "Eastern Bus Company" have so far been fruitless. Repeatedly I have been directed to www.easternbus.com, which is some kind of a search engine/directory. According to Yahoo! Yellow Pages, the Eastern Bus Company is located at 406 32nd Street in Union City, NJ; its phone number is (201) 617-1622.

There is a compass rose in the logo of Tent & Trails, a store at 21 Park Place in Manhattan which specializes in outdoor goods - tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, footwear, lights, stoves, compasses, etc. (I noticed this on the façade of the retailer's store in a photo in the March 10, 2003, New York Daily News.) Unfortunately, its website, www.tenttrails.com/ , does not have a sample of that design.

There is a trucking company called Compass/Falcon Transportation Companies. I do not know whether or not its logo contains a compass rose; I have not been able to find its website.

From what I have gathered at http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/paul_kane5.htm , Compass was the flatbed division of Falcon Transport, a large carrier based in Youngstown, Ohio, and that it recently changed its name from Compass and took the Falcon logo.

The logo of Four Points Plumbing & Heating Corporation, which is located at 253-17 80th Avenue in Floral Park, NY, contains a compass rose. (I saw it on the side of one of their vehicles as it passed.) At the time I write this - September 27, 2003 - the company has no website.
