Misspelled Signs - Page 11

Jamaica Grocery Store, 85-09 Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven, NY

This is the second time around for "gretting" cards. (See here)

Woodhaven Mini Market, 92-18 Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven, NY

Where do we start? 1: "CRAKED" PEPPER TURKEY 2: "MUANSTER" CHEESE (We would have accepted either "Muenster" or its variant, "Munster.") 3: "PROVOLON" CHEESE (There appears to be plenty of space to add the e to correctly spell it "provolone.") But "Boar's Head," "bologna," and "mozzarella" are spelled correctly.

I sure hope that the tree planting and litter removal are better than the sign lettering.

A & J Auto Electric, 1250 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

For the record, a remanufacterer is one who remanufacters something. Kudos for spelling "alternators" correctly.

1300 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

The next time I have to shipe something I intend to use their service.

J & C Mini Market, 42 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

This one reminds me of an old riddle: Why can you never starve in the desert? Because of all the sand which is there! Har har! Get it?

Happy Cleaners, 121/123 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

I couldn't be happier that they were able to altert my slacks.

Cruz Deli & Grocery, 285 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

What with the odd - to put it nicely - penmanship, it's admittedly hard to tell that on the second sign they are advertising "HAWIIAN PUNCH." However, that product is spelled correctly ("HAWAIIAN PUNCH") on the first sign. One more thing: I won't judge them on "galon," which might be Spanish for "gallon."

Liberty Food Market, 301 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Twice around for this mistake. (See here) Or maybe it's a new beverage.

Tasty Donuts Restaurant & Coffee Shop, 58-02 Myrtle Avenue, Ridgewood, NY

Just spell it like it sounds - "fettuccine," or one of its variants, "fettuccini," "fettucine," or "fettucini." But no matter how one spells it, $7.70 for the advertised meal sounds pretty darn good.
