Gusto Food, Inc., 51-09 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, NY
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume that a "distribuitor" is someone who "distribuits" things. Right? |

61st St. Deli, 39-67 61st Street, Woodside, NY
Here's an old riddle to help remind us how to spell "turkey": What are three keys that unlock no doors? Monkeys, donkeys, and turkeys. |

A & G Used Auto Parts, 1937B Flushing Avenue, Maspeth, NY
The sign reads "ANTENA," which should be "ANTENNA." What more can I say? |

Puebla Grocery, 216 Knickerbocker Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
It's admittedly hard to discern, what with the yellow lettering on a pink background, but trust me that it reads "SANDWICHE." I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a plural and the terminal s was omitted, or if it's intended to be a singular, in which case there's an extra e. In either case, it's wrong. So there. |

Maffy's Travel, 258 Knickerbocker Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
Here's another two-fer: On one part of the awning is "REAL STATE" instead of "REAL ESTATE." On another section, the address is given as "258 KNICKERBOKER AVE." Whoops! Missed the second c in "Knickerbocker." |

Jose Electronics, 136 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
José, can you see ... the mistake in your sign? I believe that it should read "VIDEO CAMERA," not "VIDEO CAMARA." |

Laundromat, 185 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
Most laundromats I've seen allow you to drop off your laundry, but not this one. However, it does offer "doop off" service, whatever that is. |

Grove Flats Fix, 297 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
They fix "aluminun" rims. So if you have aluminum ones you'll have to go elsewhere. |

Myrtle Multi Service, 1464 Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
There's a hodgepodge of English and Spanish on this sign, to be sure. But I think it's supposed to be "CELLULAR PHONES," and not "CELULAR PHONES." Do you agree? |

Shoe Repair, 66-01 Forest Avenue, Ridgewood, NY
There's a sort of inconsistency with this one. That's why I show both the main business sign and the one in the window. On the main one, notice that it reads "KNIFE & SCISSORS SHARENING." The sign-maker dropped the p from "sharpening." However, the sign in the window indicates "WE SHARP KNIFE & SCISSORS" - with the p, although it sounds like caveman-talk for "WE SHARPEN KNIFE & SCISSORS." |
