There have been...ahhh, who can keep track after two migrations anyway???
It follows the story of Miyakawa Mika, a high school girl in the Tokyo of 2095, and her adventures as the magical girl, Exquisite Soldier Lovely Freesia, as well as the friendships and relationships she has. The fic will follow an episodic format, lasting thirty-six episodes, plus epilogue and side-stories. If it were to have a rating, it would be rated PG-13 for instances of mature subject matter.
There will be no explicit scenes in the main story, but there are side stories and illustrations in existence that do depict such scenes. If you are a mature web-surfer, e-mail me through the link below and I'll consider granting you access to such matter. For a brief while, there was an adults-only page, but with the move to prodigy.net came the condition that no sexually explicit material could be posted in their webspace. It's regrettable, but I'd rather not run afoul of their legal department. Perhaps a seperate site may be in order, but that remains to be seen.
As stated above, this site is under construction. Right now, it only serves as an introduction and an index to various files related to the fic. These include character profiles, background files, and character illustrations. Eventually, the background files will be converted to HTML and made into integral parts of the website.
To the readers of my other fanfic, Aa! Megami-sensei!, I offer my apologies for the long delay in completing the next episode of that particular fic. This website represents the project that bears a large part in that delay. Hopefully, this work will be enough to your liking that you'll forgive me for setting aside AMS while I developed ESLF.
Another thing to note is that I won't be releasing the fic to rec.arts.anime.creative initially. Instead, this website will get the initial releases, until the story is finished. Then, I will release themto rec.arts.anime.creative in weekly installments.
While most of the illustrations are my own, some of them have been done by a fanartist known as Primera. As you might agree, she has a lot more talent at character illustration than I do, and I thank her for her assistance in this project. Basic rule of thumb: the good artwork is hers while the crappy pieces are mine.
Also, I must thank Patrick O'Shea, Chris Davies, and Jim Nutley, my main prereaders, for their feedback and guidance in this project. I couldn't do it as well as I have without their help.
I hope you enjoy my work so far!
