

WARRIOR CHI-NETICS (TM)
Chi is the vital force that can be energized by regulation of breathing to produce stamina and endurance. It is often said that Chi is rooted in the feet, developed in the legs, directed by the waist, and radiates out through the fingertips. Breath is the fuel of Life. Without it nothing living moves. Every martial arts exercise that was developed was based on these vital principles.
Bodhidharma introduced the foundations of the martial disciplines to the Shaolin monks of Southern China. He also taught the monks breathing exercises to help them endure the many hours of meditation required of them as priests as well as develop their power base or "Chi" to foster internal power for their self defense skills. Some incidental benefits of such practices are: emotional centering, heightened awareness, personal power, self-healing and self-control.
