Marie-Thérèse, Duchesse d'Arenberg, née de La
Poëze d'Harambure, died at Punta del Este, Uruguay, on 19 April.
[She was born at Dijon on 5 June 1911, daughter of Jean Marie Auguste
de La Poëze d'Harambure (himself the son of Gabriel de La Poëze
d'Harambure and of his wife, née Théodora Ruyneau de Saint-George)
and of his wife, née Marie Magdeleine Caroline Le Gouz de Saint-Seine
(herself the daughter of Raoul Le Gouz de Saint-Seine and of his wife,
née Pauline de Brosses). She married firstly, in 1934, Guillaume
Noël Maurice Le Verdier (son of Georges Le Verdier and of his wife,
née Marie-Thérèse Lainé-Condé). He died
later the same year. She maried secondly, in 1940, Henri de Belsunce (son
of Louis de Belsunce and of his wife, née Valentine de Roquefeuil
et du Bousquet). He was killed in action in 1944. She married thirdly,
in 1949, Erik Engelbert, Prince and Duc d'Arenberg, who in 1974 succeeded
his brother as Duc d'Arenberg. He died in 1992. He had adopted her two
children from her second marriage: Laeticia de Belsunce-d'Arenberg, who
married and divorced Archduke Leopold Franz of Austria, and had two sons,
Archduke Sigismund, the present head of the Royal House of Tuscany, and
Archduke Guntram; and Rodrigue de Belsunce d'Arenberg.] (added

Krafft Ernst Prinz zu Oettingen-Oettingen u.Oettingen-Wallerstein; the
younger, Maria Charlotte, is listed in the obituary with a partner or son

In 1944 he married Karoline Gräfin Henckel von Donnersmarck (daughter
of Karl Graf Henckel von Donnersmarck [himself the son of Edgar Graf von
Henckel-Gaschin and of his wife, née Princess Karoline zu Windisch-Grätz]
and of his wife, née Maria Gräfin Henckel von Donnersmarck).
She died in 2003. He is survived by their seven children and twelve grandchildren.]
