Proposed Crew for a flight to test the Kontakt lunar rendezvous/docking
system Soyuz (Kontakt) 11 was the active spacecraft of the second pair of Soyuz spacecraft that were planned to test the Kontakt lunar rendezvous/docking system in Earth orbit. By April 1969, two separate docking missions were planned to follow the triple mission of Soyuz 6-Soyuz 7-Soyuz 8. Soyuz (Kontakt) 11 would have been the active spacecraft, simulating the LOK lunar orbiter and would have docked with Soyuz (Kontakt) 12. |
