Moonwalkers: Alan Shepard <> Edgar Mitchell
Apollo 14 Crew: CDR Alan Shepard <> CMP Stuart Roosa <> LMP Edgar Mitchell
Apollo 14 Moonwalk 1 Shepard and Mitchell deployed the Advanced Lunar Science Experiment Package on the lunar surface and planted the American flag and a S-band dish antenna. They took care to avoid pointing the TV camera at the sun.
February 5, 1971
4 hours 49 minutes
Apollo 14 Moonwalk 2 Shepard and Mitchell performed a traverse to the rim of Cone Crater. The astronauts towed the Modularized Equipment Transporter cart for hauling tools, cameras and lunar samples. Shepard and Mitchell failed to find the rim due to the undulating terrain, but managed to collect 22 pounds of lunar samples.

Spacewalks by the Apollo 15 Crew
Apollo 15 Launch: July 26, 1971 Apollo 15 Lunar Landing: July 30, 1971
Apollo 15 Lunar Lift-off: August 2, 1971 Apollo 15 Landing: August 7, 1971
Moonwalkers: David Scott <> James Irwin
Deep Space Spacewalker: Alfred Worden
Apollo 15 Crew: CDR David Scott <> CMP Alfred Worden <> LMP James Irwin
Apollo 15 Moonwalk 1 Scott performed a standing spacewalk to survey the Hadley-Apennine landing site from the top hatch of the Lunar Module. With improved spacesuits and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), Apollo 15 marked a new era of lunar exploration. Scott reported no boulders to block the progress of the LRV.

Apollo 15 Moonwalk 2 Scott and Irwin deployed the LRV and drove south to St. George Crater for lunar sample collection. They returned back to the Lunar Module and set up the Advanced Lunar Science Experiment Package.
July 31, 1971
6 hours 34 minutes
Apollo 15 Moonwalk 3 Scott and Irwin drove the LRV southeast to Mt. Hadley Delta and back. They collected several interesting lunar samples from Spur Crater. They deployed the heat flow experiment and planted the American flag.
August 1, 1971
7 hours 13 minutes
Apollo 15 Moonwalk 4 Scott and Irwin drove the LRV west to Scarp Crater and the Hadley Rille. Before leaving they removed the core tube for the heat flow experiment but could not take it apart for stowage since the LRV vise was assembled backwards on Earth.
August 2, 1971
4 hours 20 minutes
Apollo 15 Spacewalk 5 Worden performed the first spacewalk beyond the Earth's protective inner magnetosphere. He made two trips to the Service Module's Scientific Instrument Module (SIM) bay to retrieve file cassettes and a third unplanned trip to inspect malfunctioning instruments in the SIM bay.

Apollo 16 Lunar Lift-off: April 24, 1972 Apollo 16 Landing: April 27, 1972
Moonwalkers: John Young <> Charles Duke
Deep Space Spacewalker: Thomas Mattingly
Apollo 16 Crew: CDR John Young <> CMP Thomas Mattingly <> LMP Charles Duke
Apollo 16 Moonwalk 1 Young and Duke deployed the Advanced Lunar Science Experiment Package and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), and planted the American flag. Young accidentally walked over the heat flow experiment cable, tearing it loose. Young and Duke drove the LRV to Flag Crater.
April 21, 1972
7 hours 11 minutes
Apollo 16 Moonwalk 2 Young and Duke drove the LRV up Survey to Stone Mountain. They collected lunar samples on Stone Mountain. Mission Control decided against repairing the heat flow experiment cable, since it would take too much time.
April 22, 1972
7 hours 23 minutes
Apollo 16 Moonwalk 3 Young and Duke drove the LRV to Smoky Mountain. They collected lunar samples from House Rock, the largest rock sampled during the Apollo missions, and discovered the largest remnant magnetic field on the moon. The LRV's camera was used to track the Lunar Module's ascent stage.
April 23, 1972
5 hours 40 minutes
Apollo 16 Spacewalk 4 Mattingly made two trips to the Service Module's Scientific Instrument Module (SIM) bay to retrieve file cassettes. He inspected the spacecraft's exterior and exposed the Microbial Ecological Evaluation Device to space for 10 minutes. Mattingly opened his visor to see the stars, avoiding looking into the sun, before returning to the cabin.

Apollo 17 Moonwalk 3 Cernan and Schmitt drove the LRV to North Massif. They made final adjustments to the Lunar Surface Gravimeter, and unveiled a plague marking the final moonwalk of the Apollo program. Cernan and Schmitt placed explosive packages on all three moonwalks to be set off after their departure and recorded of the geophones in the ALSEP.
