"Swaroop" in Sanskrit means "true to one's own nature". That is what this film strives for in its visual style. The director Mike Milo, incorporates texture mapping and photo-imagery with cel animation. The stylized Warner Brothers design combined with realism creates the truly unique look. The sun, moon and the sky are enhanced photo images. The cartoon trees have real leaves and the houses have real stucco, and yet they have an exaggerated quirky shape. The juxtaposition of photo imagery has been used throughout the history of animation, but new technologies make it possible to further integrate the two mediums.
