Celtic Heritage Festival Demo, 2000

Our second event was a demo at a Celtic Heritage Festival.  Everyone had a great time despite a low festival turnout and some bad weather too.  We focused mainly on spinning, music, fighting, and armoring.

To the right, the pavilion of The Honorable Lord Justinos Tekton, called Justin and Lady Milica of Varna; in the center, the pavilion of Lord Philem Liam MacIllhatton and Lady Rachel Lamorran; and to the left, the "it'll do in a pinch.. say what you like, but I like the shade pavilion" of the Shire of Rivenvale Lady Rebecca, on the left, teaching Rebecca Brown how to use a drop spindle.
Although, at times it was more "drop" and less spindle, it was fun and entertaining for both Rebecca and the observers.
On the left, Lady Rebecca Adern y Caniad and Lady Rachel demonstrating the art of spinning. Lady Rebecca working on a needlework project.
Miscellaneous arms and amour of the Shire.
Is it really "Jerry-Wear" or would it be better known as "Ivarr-Vear"?
More arms and amour of the Shire.
The two suits of body armor above and the two here were made by Ivarr Kisack.  His work always get the most "ooohs and ahhhs" from the spectators (and from the shire folks).
