The contest will run from noon to 4 pm in the barn. It will be judged by populace vote from 4 to 5 pm, and the winner will be announced at feast.

Contributions of junk are needed prior to the event. If you would like to donate some arts and sciences materials you have no further use for, contact the event steward.

Bardic Competition:

To be held on Saturday night, one hour after the conclusion of Feast, roughly around dark. All contestants should sign up - there will be a limited number of performers, so get on the list early!  (Sign up sheet will be at the Gate). Each Bard will perform two pieces to demonstrate depth and breadth of bardic abilities.  ALL BARDIC ARTS ARE ELIGIBLE.

Non-competitors should have the opportunity to perform at various times at the discretion of the Master of Ceremonies (Conall).

The winner will become the Shire's Bard for the year (as in years past). In the event an out of area competitor wins, the title will go to the next in line from within the Shire.

Prizes will be awarded - TBD by Conall. Judging will work differently this year, and will involve members of the audience, so please come and watch!  You may become part of the show.  For judging details contact Conall directly.
