| Florentine merchant-banker's daughter of
great standing during the late 1400s to early 1500s. A nouveau-riche family, the Tancredis
have just earned their way into a very comfortable living. Now they are out to cement
their name in "proper society." |
| Dionora is the eldest child, but oddly
unmarried for her age, to the dismay of her mother. Her mother has had two other
children survive along with Dionora, a son, Stephano, and a daughter, Giovanna. The
Tancredis also highly patronize the works of obscure poets and are trying to cement
relations with the Medicis. |
| Dionora is skilled at embroidery and
storytelling, learning the latter from a poet and playwrite her family patronized. |

| Mudanely I am a YSU student at history,
wishing to get my doctorate in the subject. My name is Pamela. |
