Quentin and Jackie in early 1944 while Quentin was stationed at Harding Field, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, getting his combat "finishing school" training in the P-47 Thunderbolt.








Photo taken on the steps of the Louisiana state capitol building just a few hours before Quentin boarded the train that would take him and his buddies to a port of embarkation for shipment overseas.
