Twin Town Little League

Sponsored by STRIDE, Challenge Baseball is a hit with kids. Dozens of ballplayers at all levels, are paired with buddies from Twin Town's Major League in North Greenbush, N.Y.

Mary Ellen Snelson and Cahill Orthopedic Laboratories combined to sponsor the first Little League program in the Capital District for children with disabilities. The Twin Town Little League represents the four teams with a program that has more than doubled in size. Since the introduction of adaptive baseball to the region, four other programs have added Challenger divisions to their annual schedules.

The buddies help field balls, provide team - power for a wheelchair, or guide a blind player to home plate. Everyone is a winner in the challenge Division.

Twin Town Little League is Looking for Sluggers !

Take me out to the ball park!   at the North Greenbush fields on Williams Road near HVCC. Call Laurie Furlong now to participate in this challenging sport. All disability levels are accounted for through buddy system and volunteer help.
