Since many new people have asked, "do you know a surgeon" in their particular part of the country, we have collected names over the past year of physicians named on this site, as to location. Not as to qualifications! Just location, and they are grouped in states. Some of the spellings my be incorrect, as we took them from posts of our guests on our Hernia Surgery Discussion Board. However, let it be very clear, that we do not endorse any of the surgeons named here. The physician names are from people who have had/considering surgery by a particular surgeon in their part of the country and his name was only mentioned on this site. Mostly the posts were good (estimating 95%) about a listed surgeon, however, we have seen a few bad posts as well, along with the good posts. Please don't ask us which surgeons had bad remarks made about them. Do your homework and research, ask others who have had hernia surgery, review the numerous hernia surgery sites (most are basically advertisements for the surgeon or technique), inquire of local government and state medical associations, look at your surgeons record on the internet as recorded/noted by state agencies, ask him his qualifications (how many hernia surgeries has he performed), etc. Remember we do not endorse any physician listed below, in any manor, shape or form.
