I received this email from a fellow trailerite with the hopes that someone in the trailer community could help to shed some light on it's origin...

Known Information
To whom it may concern,
I recently have come across an older trailer that my fiances family has owned for many years. It is a quaint little teardrop shaped trailer with no name on it whatsoever. I did come across the title for it just in the past few weeks, it states on the title "1948 kit" and thats it. No manufacturer. It is large by teardrop standards, it has a full size trailer door on the left hand side if facing the front of the trailer. It has a refrigerator kitchen sink and counter area and two bunks one at each end of the trailer (front and rear). It also has quite a few
drawers and cabinates in it. The material used inside looks like a
manufactured type of wood, it is beige in color with colored specks within the surface. On the exterior in has an aluminum skin that is colored white and turquois. The windows on the front and back are oval in shape, it has one square window on both sides towards the front of the trailer. The only wording on the trailer is on the hubcaps which has the word "deluxe" stamped into them. If you can be of any assistance it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to restore this trailer to its original condition and am looking for blueprints, plans, manuals, anything that can help me restore it to its former
beauty.
If you have any information about this trailer, including personal experiences, sales literature, photos, etc., please email me through the link at the bottom of this page.
Thanks! George
