1997 Hi-Point Awards


1. All entrants and riders must be current members of AHAD Inc. with all dues paid.

2. Entry fee is $10.00 per horse, per division.  No substitutions and/or changes of any kind can be made without first contacting the Hi-PointChairman, once entries have been submitted.  All entries must be received BEFORE you attend your first show.  Points earned before entry is received WILL NOT count.

3. Points earned in A, B or C rated Arabian/Half-Arabian show may be counted.  Non-Rated shows (such as Combine Circuit, EAAHSC or 4-H shows) will be used in the Non-Rated category.  The Arabian Nationals
will not be included for Hi-Point awards.

4.  Horses must be shown in at least
one show held in Delaware, Maryland or Virginia to be eligible to qualify.

5.  It is the responsibility of the horse owner or lessee to enter and to have all points, forms, etc. to Hi- Point secretary by December 1, 1997.  It is also the owner or lessee's responsibility to keep a record  of all placings and to have the 3 best show results sent in.  Three shows are not required for Year-End eligibility.  If you only attended 1 or 2 shows, you are still encouraged to submit your shows and placings.  Ties will be decided by a fourth show.

6.  Show Secretary's signature is required or a computer printout from the show secretary, questionable points will be verified by the secretary.

7. Hi-Point Chairman will not be held responsible for entries which are not received, and these entries will not be eligible for year-end awards.  The address for the Chairman is, Renee' S. 8. All Hi-Point placings are final after announcement.

9. No telephone entries will be accepted.  However, changes after entries are received will be accepted, provided the owner sends the change request in writing.

10.  Junior Division will consist of Juniors, 18 and under, as of January 1, of the current year.

11. The entry fee for the Junior Division is $10.00 per horse, per division (division meaning Arabian or Half-Arabian).
