Winners Dog, and then went on to win Best
Of Breed at the Newton Kennel Club under judge
Christopher Neale! !!

At the 2004 Collie Club of America National Specialty Show
in Springfield, MA, Colby won the 12-18 month class under judge
Pati Merill and made the final cut of 3 dogs out of an
male entry of nearly 200 dogs!
At the Collie Club of Northern New Jersey,
Colby received his 1st Major going Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Intervariety
Best of Winners under judge Joan Kirkland.

Rosie took Winners Bitch
under judge Betty Peplin for her First Major!!
At the South Jersey Kennel Club
Rosie took Winners Bitch
under judge Shelly Roos for her Second Major!!
Rosie also went Winners Bitch at 3
consecutive shows on the Southern Maryland Circuit, giving her
a total of 11 points with 2 Majors.

One of our newest Devinwood Champions,
"Wyatt" made an impressive start at the Collie Club
of America National Specialty Show in Louisville, KY, where
he made the first cut in a very large 6 to 9 month Puppy Class
under judge Joe Koehler. We're excited about this repeat

over a large entry of puppies at the Collie Club of Northern
New Jersey under specialty judge Danny Cardoza
(pictured above).
- Winner: Best Skull during
the "Virtue's Match" at the prestigious annual "Gathering
of the Great" and was a finalist in the
Muzzle and Profile
Classes. The Virtues Match is a match where entries are
judged on the presence and quality of a specified virtue. Three
judges examine the class and choose the entry that best represents
that virtue. Each judge comments on his top choice and shares
his evaluation with the audience. The judges then have to agree
on the top choice. This Virtues Match was judged by Leslie
Jeszewski, Marcia Keller and Tom Coen (pictured right with
handler Julie Jackson) in a program of audience and exhibitor
participation designed to help the audience better understand
different sections of the Collie Standard.
- Winner: Best of Breed
at his very first point show at the Taconic Hills Kennel Club
under judge Carol Duffy. On his first birthday, Trevor
came out of the 12-18 Months Class taking Best of Breed over
Specials!

at the Mason Dixon Kennel Club.
