Cartoons about the lack of FAA oversite of airlines

These are some cartoons I did for the Rockaway Press a couple of years ago. It will be under constant construction and I will put some more on soon as I am starting to draw again after a two year rest.

This is the first cartoon I did in 1990 after I first started to deal with the FAA Eastern Region. It's not my best, but it was 10 years since I had drawn anything.

This is a cartoon I did called Rockaway Beach Air Assault which I did after almost three straight day and nights of round-the-clock overflights.

This is a cartoon I did after we found a plan to rid Joco Marsh in Jamaica Bay of the Laughing Gullcolony by "oiling" the eggs, which suffocates the embryos. This plan failed and the Feds started (and still do) shooting the Laughing Gulls that fly over JFK Airport. Click on theJoCo Marshweb site to see more on the JFK vs the Laughing Gull issue.

This is a cartoon called"Rodent Control" which had to do with the 1.2 BILLION dollar Arverne Project where our wonderful politicians and their pals (former city commissioners) were going to build 10,000 housing units (not homes) on 300 acres of public land against local opposition. Although we were told it was a "done deal," we stopped it. I was chairman of the group that did it. And THAT was before I had my own public access TV show and computer.
