The guest room rate is $89.00 plus applicable taxes which, unless changed, will be 14.275%.

The “cut-off date” for accepting reservations is Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Reservations requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. The guest room rate will be honored on a rate and space available basis three days prior to and three days after the workshop. Contact the hotel directly to make those reservations.

If you have any special needs such as a handicap accessible room, questions about guest rooms, or experience any problems when making your reservation [for example, you require a room with two beds and are told only rooms with one bed are available], please contact Nancy Solinger, Senior Sales Manager, by clicking here.

Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 12 noon.

Directions to Hotel

If you are flying, the hotel provides complimentary twenty-four hour transportation to and from the airport. To catch the shuttle:

• pick up your luggage in the baggage claim area
• go to the bank of hotel phones in the baggage claim area and phone the Holiday Inn Select-Minneapolis Airport
• tell them your name; the operator will verify that you have a hotel reservation so if you are sharing a room, it is important to have all names on the room reservation, or to tell the hotel operator the name that the room reservation is under
• use the directions from the operator to catch the hotel shuttle

If you are driving:

• Proceed to I-494
• Take Exit 1B which is 34th Avenue; turn south
• Drive approximately one long block to American Blvd
• Turn left [east]
• Drive approximately one block and turn right into the hotel entrance
• Stop at ground level and check in OR
• Turn left just past hotel entrance
• Follow signage to top level of ramp [parking in the hotel ramp is complimentary]

Hotel Amenities

The hotel provides scheduled Mall of America shuttle service and provides transportation to local companies within a two-mile radius.

On-site facilities include an indoor junior Olympic pool, game room, gift shop, complimentary business center, and complimentary parking. The Fitness Room is complimentary to all in-house guests 17 years or older. Exceptional facilities include the largest indoor pool in the area, whirlpool, and sauna. The Fitness Room offers a 13-station, Nautilus circuit training equipment, multi-station Universal weight machine, over 500 lbs of free weights, Lifecycles, a Concept 2 Rower, Nordic Track, Treadmills, Elliptical Machine and Stair Climbers.

There is complimentary internet access in all guest rooms, the business center, and the hotel lobby. Parking in the hotel ramp is complimentary.
