</font> is a maker of utensil pottery in the old-fashioned
way. From Clanton, Alabama, Pettus Smith creates pottery using hand-dug and ground clay and
lead-free glazes. The ware is water and oven proof. Nothing is made by mold or other mass-production
techniques, so each hand-turned piece is unique, even items made as part of a set.

Since Smith Family Pottery is a "country" operation, you will find
that the prices are extremely reasonable for hand-turned ware.
