Online Catechist Newsletter - A great source to find information and links on important events as they happen, as well as issues relevent to catechists. From San Jose Diocese Office of Patoral Ministries. Catechist - This discussion group is the one I joined my first year as a catechist. Supportive and friendly, they were a great find! Their link and file section is generously filled with their favorites. Over 700 members.

Catechism of the Catholic Church - This is an on-line Second Edition English Translation, complete with table of contents, index and search function!!!

Catholic Catechist - Lists of lesson plans, activities, worksheets, & links contributed by catechists. This site also has an active, supportive, discussion group. Over 500 members.

Lesson Plans and Tools for Religious Education - This site has extensive lists of lesson plans, worksheets, coloring pages, activities, tools for teachers, crosswords and evaluation tools. From Resources for Catholic Educators.

Search the Bible
- Type in a keyword phrase and pick which book in the bible you want to look through (or all the bible), and up will pop a list of phrases with your keyword in it. Each phrase has a link to the full sentence, and this sentence in turn has a link to the full chapter with your keyword or phrase highlighted!

Catechetical Resources is a worthwhile visit whether you use their books or not!
They offer a checklist search form to locate activities and lessonplans; check off the age group and subjects you are interested in finding ideas for, and there they are!

Index of the Saints
- This site has over 11,000 saint and beati biographies listed by name or feast day. Very helpful if you are looking up children's names or birthdays! Also has listings of saints grouped by areas in Italy or France, and a list of the Popes.

Word document Reconciliation Card
