Freddie was born at the Naval Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on August 29,1958. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 oz. He is now a strapping 6 ft. tall and weighs over 200 lbs. He has worked in construction for many years, first as a laborer and in recent years as an operator of heavy duty equipment. He has worked on many of the hotels here in Las Vegas, as well as the airport, and other jobsites.
He is an excellent bowler and loves riding and fixing his ATV. He is married to Wendy and they have four of our grandsons, Jonathan, Joshua, Jacob, and Chad. Jacob and Chad are the twins who were born on May 26, 1999.

Our second child, Kim, was born on November 10, 1959, also at the Naval Hospital, weighing in at 8 lbs 13 oz. She was my little baby doll. I loved sewing little dresses for her and then larger clothes as she grew older. I sewed her wedding dress and those of her attendants. She was beautiful!.
Kim is married to Mark and they have two of our grandsons, Andrew 20 and Christopher 17.
She is a teller at one of our local banks. Her greatest talent is singing, which she does on her church's worship team.

Next came Rick, at the same hospital, weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz. , on July 21, 1962. Upon his graduation from high school, he worked for a while and attended Concordia Lutheran Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska. He then taught at Christ the King Lutheran Church School in Memphis,Tennessee for seven years. While there he met the mother of one of his 3rd graders.
He and Sara soon started dating and when he proposed to her, she accepted. They were married on June 27,1987. Towards the end of the seven years, Rick felt that he was called to be a Lutheran minister and attended Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Robert,Missouri.
On June 30,1996 he was ordained and installed as the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Robert, Missouri. He is the step-father of 2 of our granddaughters, Sheri and Holly.

Our last child, Rob, was born on a cold morning, February 7, 1964 weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz. He was born at Dorchester County Hopital in Summerville, SC. He was as delightful and wonderful as the others.
Rob also works in the construction business and has also worked on many of the hotels, etc. here. He is the father of 2 of our grandsons, Robbie J. and Nykkolaus; he is also the step-father of Krystie and Steven. Rob is the partner of Frannie Weeks who is the mother of the above 4 children.
He is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates and enjoys TV wrestling. He also enjoys playing basketball.

Well, there they are, all four of them who, along with the grandchildren and spouses, etc. have brought our number up to 22. Who would ever thought that 1 + 1 would = 22?
