My name is Sook Ki Lee.

Although I received a bachelor's degree in Educational Media from E-Wha Women's University in Seoul, Korea,

I always had an urge to paint.

In 1983, I enrolled in art classes at Abington Art Center in Jenkintown, PA and began painting.

My favorite subject is flowers.

Because only I work with fresh flowers, I am able to catch their range of beauty from the blossoming of the first bud to the fading of the last petal.

Watercolor on crinckled rice paper allows me the opportunity to capture the delicacy of each fragile specimen.
