My name is Noriko Lake. I teach traditional Japanese calligraphy to children and adults in South San Jose, usually on Monday afternoons or Tuesday mornings.

My students use the Nippon Shuji correspondence materials, meaning that they follow textbooks by Master Kampo Harada and send their work to Japan for evaluation every month.
I have been teaching for more than ten years and have achieved the rank of Eighth Dan, the highest possible.
