Delta Portable 12" Planer
A real workhorse! I have runs lots of wood through this thing. Only gripe-too much snipe. Would like to have a wider planer in the future.
Hollow Chisel Mortiser
This is a time saving luxury. I need better chisels. The Clico are reportedly the best but I haven't tried them. This is a great tool to have if you cut a lot of mortises.
Tenoning Jig
This is a finger saver. It makes very nice, clean tenons. This $90 one is more then heavy enough for me. It also has a very good fine adjustment knob on it. I can't imagine their $300 job.
10" Table-top Tablesaw
This was my first table saw. It did ok for under $200. Universal motor is very loud and burned up on me. But just as Jet did, Delta sent me a new motor, no questions asked! Cheap fence. Put on a good blade and you can rip with it, just not very accurately.
12" Drill Press
This is the table-top model. I have it mounted on a universal tool stand. I think this is a very nice tool. I don't use a drill press too awful much so this one meets all my needs. Quiet, but has trouble with the larger forstner bits-3/4" and up.
