3d Ship Multi-10

Multi-10: 3d Space Craft.

One day a friend noted that my ships all appeared to be mere powerless derelicts, empty hulks cast adrift in space.

Taking that as a challenge, I promptly fired up Moray and POV, and set to work on a 'working' space craft.

Then later, as I proudly showed him the image above, he protested yet again.   "But where's the pilot?"

And thus the two Masks below were inspired...

Arklaine - Son of a Litch

3d Engine 07

Engine 07: A 3d Engine.

As with all my other 3d models, this engine were built entirely from scratch.

Those who do 3d modeling might find it interesting that the 'herring-bone' girders are actually a single rod, spatially transposed and repeated within the model.

Arklaine: - Son of a Litch.

A costume I made which took 'Best of Horror' at LOSCON '86, back when I haunted Science Fiction Conventions.

The theme seemed fitting since I  AM a child of
"The Day of the Dead" aka "All Hallow's Day" aka "All Saint's Day"

3d Mask

Mask & Mask with Mask:

 3d Models, crafted as Pilots.

While I've yet to actually make any of my spacecraft be manned ships, these two represent an early effort at building a space pilot from scratch.

Needless to say, such organic forms are far more difficult to model in 3d than mere non-organic mechanisms
