The 49ers needed to win the rest of their games after a loss to the Raiders as they entered RFK stadium for a showdown against the Redskins on Monday Night Football. Montana tossed a bomb down the right sidelines towards Rice. Darrell Green leaped out and tipped the ball in the air. As the ball spun up and down, Rice nabbed the ball out of the air and raced down the rest of the field for an 80 yard TD.
