What else could it be? 13 receptions, 225 yards, and 5 TDs against the Falcons says it all.
Did You Know...
The Falcons refused to put Deion Sanders on Jerry Rice when Atlanta and San Francisco played in 1990.
Play of the Year
At Texas Stadium, Rice scored a 9 yard TD the old fashioned way: he earned it. Running a post route, Rice leaped and extended his left arm to grab a Montana pass in the back of the end zone. The defender was draped onto Rice as he jumped up to catch the football with one hand. Despite this, Rice somehow managed to catch the ball (with his left hand, mind you) in the back of the endzone and have the concentration to quickly tap both feet in bounds for the score. Simply amazing.
