On a brisk Monday Night showdown at the 'Stick against the Vikings, Jerry Rice set a personal best with 289 receiving yards. A 10 yard run on an end around left JR just 1 yard short of a 300 total yardage game. All three of Rice's touchdowns came in the first half as the Niners won a thriller, 37-30.
