Joe Starkey, the 49er play by play radio broadcaster, exclaimed, "Highway 101 belongs to Jerry Rice...next exit, Hall of Fame!" after Rice scored his 101st TD against the Miami Dolphins in 1992.

Might as well add Highway 127 to the list. In the opening game of the 1994 season against the Los Angeles Raiders, Rice would score 3 times en route to a 44-14 spanking. Rice's last TD (seen here) established him as the greatest touchdown scorer of all time. He eclipsed Jim Brown's record for total touchdowns in a career (126).
