Since 1976, I have belonged to the third largest women’s organization in the United States. ABWA’s mission is to "bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition."

I have chaired every committee and served in every chapter office during those years. Most of the committees I have managed more than once. My favorite committee, though, is the newsletter committee. I just keep volunteering for it again and again. I have either managed or served on the newsletter committee for more than 20 years in ABWA.

ABWA is all encompassing. You make friends all over the country, give scholarships, do community service, and improve your business and management skills. ABWA is changing women’s lives, one woman at a time, and that’s why I belong!
