As long as I can remember I wanted to be a writer. As I got older I exchanged my dream for the reality of working. I moved to Baltimore, Md about 9 years ago and have since married my best friend and embarked on the wonderful journey of motherhood, in no particular order. I have responsibilities, expectations and goals. I have my dreams back!
One day I was helping my daughter look for a night-night story to read. We had read every book on her book shelves 2 or 3 times, so she knew each story by heart. We chose an old favorite, but when I substituted her name as the main character, she loved it! We had so much fun reading about her antics that I began making some up on my own. It wasn't long before she wanted to see an actual book, so I created one. The natural next step was to create personalized coloring books for all children to enjoy.
