of cell sorting experiments.
The use of cell sorting
experiments with in situ hybridization and in situ
PCR is a powerful combination. In these
experiments, cells were sorted into two groups -
depending on the presence of a specific phenotypic
marker. These two groups were then analyzed for
an IL mRNA. Note that the first set has very
rare + cells (figure #1), while in the second group
most of the cells were + (figure #2).
