Mrs. Bluebell and each of the other five ClueJo characters happened to receive a nice “thinking of you” card from a different friend. Each received their card from one of the Clue suspects who happened to be traveling somewhere in Europe at that time, but was not going to be able to make it to England to visit in person. No two received the same type of card - each of which had a different plant or flower as its’ theme. From the clues, determine the recipient and sender of each card, the theme of each card, and the country from which each card was postmarked (one is Italy).
Note: As most know who have either read my ClueJo page or know the game Clue, the version of the “Clue” game is an American version - thus, I have my Clue characters residing in America (while the English version is called “ClueDo”) and my ClueJo characters residing in England.
1. No Clue suspect sent a card which had a plant or flower on it that was the color which is the same as the color associated with his or her name (Col. Mustard - yellow, Miss Scarlet - red, Mr. Green - green, Mrs. Peacock - blue, Mrs. White - white, and Prof. Plum - purple).
2. Five of the six recipients are Inspector Black (who didn’t get a card from Mrs. White), the person who received a card from Prof. Plum, the person who received a card from Col. Mustard (who sent the card with red roses as its theme) the woman who received a card from Norway, and the person who received a card postmarked from Greece.
3. Sir Sable, who received a Thinking of You card with yellow irises as the theme, isn’t the person who received a card postmarked from Austria.
4. Miss Lavender, who didn’t receive a card from Mr. Green, received a card with lovely purple larkspur on it (which wasn’t postmarked from Norway). Lady Melon received the card with exquisite white chrysanthemums.
5. The person who sent a card from Greece, who wasn’t Mrs. Peacock, picked out a card which featured feathery green ferns as its’ theme, while the card postmarked from Spain was received by Dr. Gray.
6. The card with blue violets, which was postmarked from France, wasn’t sent by Mr. Green.

Each of the six individuals, including Jane, who live in the apartment building at 2001 Gameside Lane, went in together to purchase registered versions of some of Everett Kaser’s software games. They figured they had played the shareware versions long enough! Although each person has a computer, his or her computer is fairly old and does not have a lot of hard disc space, so each decided to download only one of the six games to his or her computer, and since visits between the apartments is frequent, each game would be available to them all. Each downloaded his or her own favorite game and, fortunately, all turned out well because no two friends had the same favorite! From the clues, determine the first and last name of each individula who lives in each apartment (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, or 3B) and the particular Kaser game that each downloaded from the CD to his or her computer.
1. The individual who lives in 3A isn’t the one who downloaded the game Descartes Enigma.
2. Both the person surnamed Gaal (who isn’t Deni) and the person who downloaded Honeycomb Hotel live on the same floor.
3. The person surnamed Lewis lives directly above the person whose favorite game is Sherlock, who lives directly across the hall from Monissa.
4. The two individuals surnamed Whiteley and Stumme live directly across the hall from one another.
5. Pat lives in the apartment directly above the individual surnamed Firkus (who isn’t the one who downloaded the registered version of Sherlock).
6. The person who downloaded the game Solitile, which he or she plays by the hour, lives directly below Mark (whose surname isn’t Stumme) and across the hall from the person surnamed Callan.
7. Monnisa’s favorite game isn’t Solitile and Deni’s favorite game isn’t Knarly Mazes.
8. David lives directly below the individual who downloaded Lunatile.

Last year, Stefano vacationed in New England and managed to visit five old High School buddies. Each friend had a very unusual first name - for having been born in the 20th Century that is, and so each went by a different nickname. Not only did each have a rather unusual first name (one is Aloysius), but each lives in a rather different type of dwelling (one lives in a converted boxcar). From the clues, can you determine each of Stefano’s friends’ first name, nickname, type of dwelling, and the New England state in which each friend lives?
1. The five friends are the man nicknamed Jinx, the man who lives in Delaware, the man who lives in New Hampshire, the man who calls a converted windmill home, and the man who calls a converted old barn home.
2. Neither Cathimor nor Dedrick (yes, those are two of Stefano’s friends’ real names!) is the man nicknamed Marbles nor the man who resides in New Jersey.
3. Neither Baldric nor Dedrick (neither of whom live in Vermont) are the friend known by the nickname Egghead (who does not live in converted windmill).
4. Neither the Vermont resident nor the Connecticut resident are known by the nicknames Whistler or Jinx, and none of these four gentlemen is the friend Stefano visited whose home is a tree house.
5. Ebenezer’s nickname is neither Torpedo nor Egghead, and none of these three men are the man who lives in the tree house or the man who lives in the converted cave.
6. When visiting Aloysius and Dedrick (neither of whom is nicknamed Jinx), Stefano travelled to Delaware in one instance, and stayed in a comfortably furnished cave in the other case.
7. Stefano played football in high school with both Cathimor and the man who resides in Connecticut.
