Here we are entering a new year and with it comes new challenges. Most folk will experience some type of crisis in their lives sometime and most will make it through although they think they might not. It has been over a year now since I was diagnosed with throat cancer and I'm still in remission, but my life changed forever. For some the changes are for the good and for some it is a lifetime change. However, my experience has made me more aware of other people's feelings, thoughts, and moods. I find myself being more considerate when out in public and being thankful for any good deed - even a smile from a stranger. Now, if I can just be more vigilant in answering emails I'll have it made! I hope that you will continue to visit my site and work the logic problems I post for your enjoyment. In the past five years emails have been very positive and I thank each and everyone of you who have responded with kind words - both for my site and my health. I wish each and everyone of you a great 2005!

Last weekend Stefano dropped by the Kasers to spend some time and catch up on news. On Saturday evening Everett got out their Clue game and he and his family (wife Sharon, daughter Megan, and son Shane gathered around the table along with Stefano and they ended up playing five games. During each game, a different suspect - Col. Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Mrs. White, or Prof. Plum - ended up being the culprit. Each had done it in a different room (Billiard Room, Conservatory, Dining Room, Kitchen, or Study) and each had used a different weapon (candlestick, knife, lead pipe, rope, or wrench). The players ended up winning one game each. From the clues, determine the suspect, room, and weapon during the game that each person won.
1. The knife wasn’t the weapon used in the game where the crime was committed in the Billiard Room.
2. Megan (whose winning guess didn’t include the Dining Room) didn’t win the game where either Col. Mustard or Mr. Green was the culprit.
3. Stefano didn’t win the game where either the candlestick or the rope.
4. The game where the candlestick ended up being the weapon used wasn’t the one where the room where the dire deed was committed was either the Billiard Room or the Study.
5. The winner of the game where Mr. Green was the suspect wasn’t the same game as where the weapon used was the lead pipe.
6. Stefano’s winning guess didn’t include the Study as the scene of Mr. Boddy’s demise.
7. Miss Scarlet wasn’t the suspect during the game where the weapon ended up being the rope or the candlestick (which wasn’t the game won by Everett).
8. Shane didn’t win the game where the lead pipe was the weapon (which wasn’t the weapon used in the Billiard Room)..
9. Either Sharon or Shane won the game where the crime was committed by the exotic Miss Scarlet.
10. Mrs. White (who never used the wrench) didn’t end up being the suspect during the game where the room ended up being the Conservatory.
11. The player who won the game where his or her guess included Mr. Green didn’t guess the scene as being in either the Billiard Room or the Dining Room.
12. The five games included the game won by Everett, the game won by the player who correctly guessed the suspect as being Col. Mustard, and the game won by the player who correctly guessed the weapon as the rope, the game won by the player who correctly guessed the scene as the Billiard Room, and the game won by the player who correctly guessed the scene as the Study..
