Last Friday was the grand opening of the new Antique Mall in the city and so early that morning our six Clue characters loaded up in Mr. Boddy’s van and the seven headed for a day of shopping. Although they visited most all of the shops, each person made only one purchase and each made their purchase at a different shop within the mall. Each of the seven - Col. Mustard, Mr. Boddy, Mr. Green, Miss Scarlet, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White, and Prof. Plum, arrived at the Antique Mall’s center food court in a different order where they oh’d and ah’d over one anothers purchases and grabbed something to eat before heading home.
From the clues, determine the order that each person got to the food court after shopping (first through seventh), the purchase each made (one person purchased a silver salt and pepper set), and at which shop each made their purchase (one made a purchase at Memories Gallery).
1. Mr. Boddy purchased either a pair of pewter book ends or the Tiffany lamp.
2. The individual who made a purchase at Dis-N-Dat Shop arrived at the food court immediately before the individual who purchased a music box, who in turn arrived at the food court immediately before one of the men.
3. One person arrived back at the food court between the time Col. Mustard arrived and the woman who purchased the lace table cloth, and one person arrived between the time the woman who purchased the lace table cloth and the person who made a purchase at Old Town Antiques, in that order.
4. Prof. Plum’s arrival at the food court was sometime after the man who made a purchase at Yesterday’s and sometime before the person who purchased the crystal platter.
5. Exactly two people made it to the food court after the person who made a purchase at Heartstrings Antiques and before the person who made a purchase at Tinker’s Treasures.
6. Miss Scarlet arrived at the food court after at least one other person, but before both of the other two women, who arrived before Mr. Boddy.
7. In consecutive order, four individuals to arrive at the food court were the person who made a purchase at the Etcetera Shoppe, one person who was not Prof. Plum, Mrs. Peacock, and the woman who purchased the ebony paper weight.
8. Mr. Green, who arrived at the food court just before the person made a purchase at Yesterday’s, purchased either the lace table cloth or the Tiffany lamp.

Note: had a bit of problem with putting in the wrong html symbol in two places, and that caused the intro and Clue 4 not to show up. It is fixed now, so hope this helps for those who haven't already discovered it. Thanks to an alert visitor, I was informed fast! :-)
Recently, Patterson Photographers had a special offer on professional photographs and so Everett called and made an appointment. He, his wife Sharon, his two children - Megan, and Shane, and his parents, were to meet at 11:00 AM for the sittings. Each arrived a few minutes early (at five minute intervals from 10:35 to 10:55). Each person chose a different backdrop for his or her (or in the case of Everett’s parents, their) photograph - a cream colored curtain, a pale green background, a background with a rainbow, a sky with clouds, or trees. Each person had arrived at the photographer’s studio from a different location - dentist, greenhouse, home, library, or YMCA. From the clues, determine the order in which each person arrived at the studio, where each had been prior to arriving at the studio, and the background each had chosen for his or her (or their) photograph.
1. The last to arrive at the studio at 10:55 had been at the library.
2. The person(s) who had been at the YMCA playing racket ball arrived exactly ten minutes before Sharon.
3. The individual(s) who had visited a local greenhouse to buy some shrubbery arrived at the studio sometime after the person(s) who had chosen a cream-colored curtain as a backdrop.
4. Megan arrived at the photographers sometime after the person(s) who chose a pale green backdrop.
5. Neither the person(s) who selected the backdrop with trees or the pale green backdrop had spent any time at the YMCA that particular day.
6. Shane arrived sometime after the person(s) who had visited the local greenhouse and before the person who had been to the dentist.
7. The first to arrive at the studio wasn’t Everett.
8. The last to arrive for their appointment wasn’t the person who chose a backdrop with trees.
9. It wasn’t Shane who had chosen the background with sky and clouds.
